Went here on a Friday evening. Had a reservation from Yelp for - people. They had a jazz band playing that night that set the tone for the evening. Very lively, dimmed-lit setting. We were sat immediately with our reservation ready. They waited until everyone arrived to take our orders. I ordered a Sazzy cocktail, which was pretty good. Although everyone on the table ordered their own plates, we ended up sharing everything, so I was fortunate to try most of the menu items. The BBQ Shrimp was amazing. Nicely cooked and full of flavor. I sampled a sample tray of eÌtouffeÌe, jambalaya, gumbo and rice beans. EÌtouffeÌe was definitely the highlight with a really rich creamy flavor. I could drink that gravy all day! The drunken shrimp plate was good too. The char grilled oysters were chefs kiss! A plate I've wanted to try for a while, and it was absolutely worth it! I also ordered a catfish plate and it was so gewd! Juicy on the inside while still maintaining its tender breading on the outside.Overall, a fantastic experience. Creole flavoring was super good! Some of the girls there were even dancing to some of the jazz tunes being played. The waiter was attentive. People continued to check on us. They really care about the success of this place, and if I lived here I'd be here often. Highly recommend coming here!

I was wowed!!! So was my husband and often critical mother. The food was fresh, hot, and you could just taste the love. We could also feel the love as the owners were very attentive to all their patrons. A saxophonist (specific days and times) played nearby at a respectable volume. This is huge tooâ so often live music means you canât have a conversation, but not here. But again, the food was out of this world. I donât often give stars, but this place was worth every penny! The mimosa brunch was a deal too. I could go on and on but I recommend going for yourself.
